Our knitting friends Arne and Carlos caught the dreaded Covid virus and Carlos in particular had a very bad dose. He and Arne have gone north to Lofoten to continue their recovery.

My sisters Ruth and Nan on the Ile de France in New York. They were about to sail. It was April 1950. I was 13 years old. They would be gone for 2 months. Oh how I missed them. But they had such adventures!
