Among My Favorite Postcards

Here he is – a handsome St. Bernard. An “old” postcard postmarked Torino 8.21.17 Note the Italian stamp in the lower right hand corner.

One of the categories of postcards that I collect is “Dogs”. This is certainly a handsome St. Bernard!

And this is my handsome part St Bernard part Collie dog in the snow in Belmont Massachusetts in the 1940’s. She was our wonderful family dog – named Duchess. Do you see why St Bernards are one of my favorite breeds?
