Naked Legs

I tried my best to record an audio of this poem but ended up with lots of stutters and giggles. Just try reading it aloud and you’ll see why!

I used to sell silk stockings

then started stocking tights

The business had its ups and downs

and often pleasant sights

but then we had a hold-up

and all the stock was gone

Now I’m left with naked legs

with nothing to put on!
