Weaving in Bhutan on my Glimakra loom

What a charmed life experience – to live in the Mountain Kingdom of Bhutan for 2 years in the 1980’s. I had my loom set up in a sunny corner of our house.

Entering Connaught Tunnel and Ross Peak Note the steam engine and freight? cars. Are the real cars passenger cars? I wonder when this photo was taken.

A postcard given to me recently by a friend in Seattle. The postcard was from her collection and dates from the

1970’s (?). I’ll have to check on that date. It’s a pity the postmark is not clear. Research on he stamp might give a clue.
