Doorways

Doorways are one of my themes in postcard collecting. Today I stumbled upon an old photograph which fits this theme also. It’s a photo of 2 doorways in Dublin, or more specifically in Dún Laoghaire, some years ago.

Doors in Dún Laoghaire

Lerwick Scotland in Black&White

South End, Lerwick
Reverse side

Note that this postcard is postmarked Inverness, 2 Oct 1961. And reading the written message we find that the writer was delayed by weather conditions in Lerwick and Kirkwall. All part and parcel of traveling in the far north of Scotland. I like the postage stamps also.
