Beautiful Pointers

On the plains, Nairobi Kenya

Lawn bowling was one of my favorite sports. I learned this sport when we lived in Kenya in the early 1990’s. Then when we retired to Dublin (Ireland) I was able to continue my bowling “career”. But this activity ended for me when we moved from Dublin to Seattle in 2010. Alas I miss it. There is a bowling green near us here in Seattle but to this day I have never seen it in use.

I’m trying to make up a story to go with this old photo.
Any suggestions?

Orchestra for a performance of South Pacific – 2 Mckee’s in the clarinet section – myself and eldest son.
Amateur productions like this were so much fun when we lived in developing countries. in the photo above my eldest son and I were in the clarinet section.
(Other members of the family were involved in the production – my husband did the set design and our other 2 sons were involved in backstage activities. A family and local community effort. Wonderful fun – in the early 1980’s.)
