Does this ever happen to you? You have something you have to get signed and then the mail by a certain date? Well now you have an excuse. Blame it on COVID. I finally got the form signed by the required persons and now it’s in the mail. What a feeling of accomplishment. I won’t tell you how overdue it is.

Duchess had a little pal named Bryan. Bryan lived across the street. Sometimes Whiskers the cat joined Duchess and Bryan.

It’s handy if you can enlist your dog to pull your sled. I tried to persuade my dog Duchess but as I remember the snowfalls in the 1940’s, Duchess wasn’t too enthusiastic about pulling my sled. We had good fun though in those heavy snowfalls.

I am thinking of my sister Ruth especially today on January 6th. It would have been my sister Ruth’s 96th birthday. Her family and all who knew her miss her very much. I hope she is looking down on us and realizes how she is a guiding star. We miss you Ruth – Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. – a Guiding Star. May you Rest in Peace.
