Not that I was alive in 1907 or in Montpelier Vermont. But I have friends and relatives who live or lived in Montpelier. And I am very familiar with Vermont snow storms having lived in nearby Middlebury for 4 years.

I am day dreaming out loud, so to speak. Some years ago I did a bit of sketching and painting. In fact I did this off and on, and I still have a few of my efforts hanging on the walls of this studio apartment – my present abode. This photo of cows in Dublin is calling to me to get out my sketching pad. Get down to work.

Am I confused? Yes. I set out this morning thinking it was the monthly meeting of my postcard club. A meeting I was looking forward to very much. I arrived at the meeting place and found it locked – absolutely no sign of activity. Hmm – I wonder what happened. Disappointed, I proceeded to walk to the Nordic Museum for my usual mocha refreshment. Slowly it dawned on me that this indeed was not the first Sunday of January. I was a week behind!! 

I made the most of a disappointing situation and proceeded to have my usual Mocha at the Nordic Museum and enjoy browsing and making some purchases at the Museum Shop. Followed by a browse and purchases at the Secret Garden Bookshop. Just another manic Sunday!
