I was quite taken by this article in a recent issue of the New York Times What unusual coloring. I loved the photo with the contesting shades of light and dark. I saved it for future inspiration – a writing theme or something in textiles.

Does this make you think you think of a possible poem?
It’s a yellow door in Dun Laoghaire Dublin Ireland.
a postcard titled Anacortes Crossing (copyright Drew M. Wright) “As the sun rises over Mt. Baker, a ferry waits for passengers destined for the San Juan Islands.”
Postcard from Norway – just to look at this view makes me feel cold – and bleak. It’s a color card but you would think it was black and white.
Not quite so cold – the summer clothing worn by the figures in the foreground give some warmth Hilsen Fra Nordland = Greetings from Nordland (a region in the far North of Norway)
Midnight Sun in Norway
I can’t remember where I spotted this colorful display – it must have been somewhere nearby on one of my recent neighborhood walks.
latest knitting – a sleeveless top – I’m about to do the final decreases.
And then I took a walk. And I met this handsome cat.
I saw this beautiful cat. And she was friendly.
