Snow Geese in the Skagit Valley
It was a brilliant day earlier this week when I went up to the Skagit Valley and saw an estimated 22,000 snow geese on the ground and in the air. What a sight. I felt as if I was experiencing one of nature’s wonders of the world.

I’m lining up the last of the blooms and taking pots inside so as not to lose any to frost. We still have lots of birds and I can keep feeding them. And there are plenty of fallen leaves to collect.

The leaves were falling and the little brown birds were hatter away and fling from branch to branch. Quite a noisy display but all too quick for my simple camera/phone.
