Start of the Revolutionary War

Postcard The Hancock Clark House in Lexington Mass. Built in 1738 John Hancock and Samuel Adams were staying here on April 18 1775 Paul Revere called here to warn them of the approaching British army.
Judging by the stamp. this card was posted in the early 1900’s

This card is rather puzzling. Written in June 1953 and posted from Ohio. The message seems totally unrelated to the card.
But I like the image on the card.

Oh if only this card could speak – instead I’ll have to think up the story it might tell.
