Having a birthday (Dec. 7th) in December results in messages and celebrations getting mixed up with Christmas. First is a lovely card I received for my birthday., followed by a special card for Christmas.
This is a letter I wrote about 35years ago to my sister Ruth. We were living in Kenya at that time and the letter was written in. late December to reach my sister in New Hampshire in time for her 65th birthday.in early January.
I don’t remember about half the things I mention in the letter!

This photo dates from the early 1980’s, over 40 years ago. One of my sons is there in the front row playing the violin. And his music teacher is playing the bassoon right behind him.
I wonder where all these people are now. I do know where my son is, and also the music teacher, oh and also the violin player in the left of the photo.
