The years go by. I keep knitting and crocheting because that’s what I like to do. But I don’t really have goals or outlets for my work. This is the season of craft fairs as we run up to Thanksgiving and Christmas.. I’m preparing for the Craft Fair at the Senior Center in Ballard. I will be sharing a table with 2 friends and we will have a lot of fun and hopefully a sale or two….or three…… So I have spent today assembling my work and sewing in threads on numerous scarves. That’s my “go-to” knitting. It’s actually enjoyable to assemble my work, old and new.
A big competitor this coming weekend will be Julefest at the the more sophisticated and resourced Nordic Museum, just a block away from the Ballard Senior Center. I am an enthusiastic supporter of both organisations but my lovely knitted and crocheted items will only be available at the Ballard Senior Centre. As the song goes – “Come and Buy……”
