Reverse side – note the date this message was written, May 1964. The message is interesting – the writer had to change his plans. To quote – “Our plans changed abruptly…….They sold too many tickets on Thai Intl Air Lines. So we went to S’pore. Today we go back to Kuala Lumpur. Manila Tuesday, Honolulu Friday………..

Note also the beautiful stamps

The card was sent to the writer’s friend at Shell Oil in San Francisco.

A New Postcard With An Old Image

Golf Links, Charlottetown, P. E. I.

Isn’t this a “mellow” image. It looks as if there are two men putting or chipping simultaneously. Note the outfits of the caddies and how few clubs they are carrying. The golfer on the left is wearing very colorful “trews” (trousers). This is so “staged”. These men aren’t putting – the group is in the middle of a fairway. The “caddie” on the right looks like quite a senior old gent. Enough nit-picking. Staged or not, it’s fun image.
